Technology Shaped By The Work

Andrew Rose approaches development from the application outward. The team identifies a recurring detailing problem, studies the chemistry or material behavior behind it, tests the proposed solution in real workflows, and refines the product through direct feedback.

Our development loop

  1. Observe: identify a cleaning, polishing, protection, or workflow problem.
  2. Design: select a formulation, material structure, or application method suited to the task.
  3. Test: evaluate effectiveness, handling, dilution, dwell time, surface compatibility, and repeatability.
  4. Refine: use field results and customer feedback to improve the product and instructions.
  5. Support: explain where the product works, how to use it, and where it should not be used.

UCT: Uniform Cut Technology

Polishing quality depends on more than the compound or machine. Wool consistency, fiber length, density, and balance affect cutting behavior, vibration, finishing quality, and the risk of secondary marks.

UCT pads use selected wool fibers, uniform cutting, dense fiber placement, and dynamic balancing to produce more consistent contact across the pad. Different short- and long-wool structures support different correction, finishing, heat-management, and contour-following needs.

Dual-action acidic prewash

Traditional decontamination may separate acidic prewash and iron-removal steps. Andrew Rose developed a combined workflow intended to address water spots, iron contamination, and road film during one foaming stage.

The formula uses dense, long-dwell foam to keep the chemistry on the surface. Andrew Rose specifies approximately three minutes of reaction time and a recommended dilution of 1:3 to 1:4, followed by thorough pressure rinsing. Application limits and product instructions remain essential.

Performance with boundaries

Strong chemistry is useful only when matched to the correct surface and process. Andrew Rose guidance distinguishes painted, coated, glass, wheel, metal, plastic, and interior applications and identifies cases where a product or concentration is unsuitable. Always follow the current label, test an inconspicuous area, and avoid allowing chemicals to dry on the surface.
