This Privacy Policy explains how Da Xin Shang Yang Co., Ltd. (大信上仰有限公司), Taiwan Unified Business Number 90258233, registered at 1F., No. 248, Sec. 4, Chongqing N. Rd., Shilin Dist., Taipei City, Taiwan ("Andrew Rose", "we", "us" or "our"), handles personal information collected through this website.

1. This website is a showroom

This website is a product showroom. Nothing is sold through it, there are no customer accounts, and no payment is taken on it. We therefore do not collect card details, billing addresses, delivery addresses or order histories through this website. The personal information we hold from the website comes almost entirely from enquiries you choose to send us.

If we go on to supply you, the personal information involved in that supply — your company's ordering, shipping and accounting details — is handled under the quotation and order confirmation for that shipment, not under this page.

2. What we collect

When you submit the international enquiry form, we collect what you enter in it:

  • contact name and company;
  • email address, and telephone or WhatsApp number;
  • country or market;
  • products of interest and estimated quantity;
  • anything you write in the message field.

If you contact us instead by email or WhatsApp, we hold that correspondence and whatever you choose to include in it.

Our hosting provider also records ordinary technical information when a page is served — IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the time — which is used to run the site securely and to diagnose faults.

3. Why we use it

  • to answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation and discuss supply;
  • to send product, safety and documentation information you have asked for;
  • to keep a record of what was asked and what we answered;
  • to keep the website available and secure;
  • to meet our legal, tax and product-safety obligations.

We rely on your request and our legitimate interest in responding to it, on the steps leading to a contract, on our legal obligations, and — where it applies, such as optional analytics — on your consent.

We do not send marketing email to people who have only made an enquiry unless they have asked for it.

4. Cookies

Necessary cookies are set by our hosting provider so the site works — session and security cookies. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.

Analytics cookies are set only if you agree. We use Google Analytics to understand how the showroom is used — which pages are read, and which markets enquiries come from. The first time you visit, a notice at the bottom of the page asks you to accept or decline. Nothing analytics-related loads until you accept; if you decline, no analytics cookie is set and any existing one is removed. IP addresses are anonymised.

5. Who we share it with

We disclose personal information only as far as is reasonably necessary, to:

  • EasyStore, which hosts and operates this storefront;
  • the enquiry-form application used on this site, which receives what you submit through the form;
  • our email provider, where the enquiry reaches us as a message;
  • Google Analytics, but only if you accepted analytics cookies;
  • WhatsApp, if you choose to contact us that way, under its own terms;
  • professional advisers, insurers, regulators, courts and public authorities, where we are required or entitled to do so;
  • a successor involved in a lawful merger, reorganisation or sale of the business.

Service providers may use the information only to provide the service we have engaged them for. We do not sell personal information.

6. International processing

We are based in Taiwan and our providers may process information in Taiwan, Malaysia and elsewhere. Where a transfer requires safeguards, we rely on the provider's contractual terms for international transfers.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while we are dealing with them and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can pick up a conversation again and deal with any dispute. Where an enquiry leads to supply, the related records are kept for the periods required by tax, accounting, customs and product-safety law. Technical logs are kept for a short period. Information is deleted or anonymised once it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it or we need it to establish or defend a legal claim.

8. Your rights

Subject to the law that applies to you, you may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw a consent you have given. Write to us using the details below. We may need to confirm who you are before we act, and we may have to keep some records where the law requires it.

This website is aimed at trade buyers and is not directed at children.

Our pages link to services we do not control, including WhatsApp and our listings on marketplaces. Their own privacy notices apply to what you do there.
