The dual-action acidic prewash is designed to address water spots, iron contamination, and road film during one foaming stage. It reduces the need to apply a separate iron remover before the wash.
How the process works
Dense foam holds the chemistry against the vehicle so it can soften contamination before rinsing. Andrew Rose specifies approximately three minutes of dwell time. The white foam may conceal the familiar purple iron reaction; lack of visible purple does not by itself mean the reaction has stopped.
Application
- Dilute 1:3 to 1:4 according to the current product instruction and contamination level.
- Apply evenly to a cool, dry surface out of direct sunlight.
- Allow approximately three minutes of dwell time. Do not allow the product to dry.
- Rinse thoroughly with a pressure washer.
Test first and follow the current label. Extremely contaminated vehicles may require a different staged process.
