JOYBOND Detailing Clay Bar 200g — Japan-Made, Paint-Safe
Developed and made in Taiwan
Share
JOYBOND detailing clay, imported from Japan, removes bonded contamination a wash leaves behind — tar, iron fallout, bird-dropping etch and bug residue — leaving paint smooth and coating-ready. Its tolerance for inexperienced hands is the reason it suits accounts with rotating staff.
Performance
- Removes bonded contamination — tar, iron fallout, bird-dropping marks and bug stains that chemical cleaners do not lift.
- Red — for light-coloured paint; stronger cutting action.
- Blue — for dark-coloured paint; gentler, finer action.
- Paint-safe — when used with plenty of lubricant and no downward pressure.
- 200 g bar — covers large areas before it needs re-folding.
Application
- Soak the clay in water and flatten it for 3–5 minutes until it is less tacky.
- Wet the paint and apply plenty of clay lubricant — the surface must be genuinely slick.
- Glide the clay over the paint with no downward pressure.
- Re-fold to a clean face as it loads up, and rinse the panel when finished.
